Modern cricket demands bowlers to have multiple variations to keep batsmen guessing and create wicket-taking opportunities.
Pace Bowling Variations
- Slower Ball: Off-cutter, leg-cutter, or back-of-hand slower delivery
- Yorker: Full ball targeting the base of stumps or toes
- Bouncer: Short ball to rush the batsman or restrict scoring
- Knuckleball: Ball released without backspin for unpredictable dip
