It explains what peptides are, how they work in the body, what has actually been tested, and how to read that evidence yourself. It does not tell anyone what to take.

It contains no dosing information, no preparation or reconstitution procedures, no injection technique, no cycles or protocols, and no vendors — not as an oversight, but as a design constraint. That constraint is enforced by the project's build validator, which flags any passage that reads as an instruction.

If you are considering any peptide therapy, or if you are already using one, that conversation belongs with a qualified healthcare provider who knows your medical history, can order the right baseline tests, and is available if something goes wrong. Chapter 39 exists to make that conversation go better.

On the evidence ratings

Every peptide in this book carries a rating, attached to a specific claim for a specific population:

Strong clinical evidence
⚠️ Promising but preliminary
Hype outpaces evidence
🔬 Frontier — too soon to rate

A ❌ is a statement about the state of published human evidence, not a claim that a molecule does nothing. Several compounds rated ❌ in these pages will likely be ⚠️ or ✅ within a decade. Some will be shown not to work. Both futures are live, and the point of the book is that you will be able to tell which is which when the data arrives.

Ratings are current as of 2026. Trials read out, approvals happen, and shortages resolve. Chapter 38 and Appendix G show you how to check the current status of anything in this book yourself.
