Seeing questions — what's wrong here?
Q25. Read this setup and diagnose it. A photographer wants a clean, appetizing shot of a tall stacked burger. They place the window directly behind the camera (front light), set the camera on a tripod pointing straight down at the burger from overhead, and fill the frame edge-to-edge with the plate plus four props (fries, a drink, a napkin, scattered sesame seeds). The result looks flat, glary, busy, and "short." Name the three distinct mistakes and prescribe the fix for each.

Q1 — (b). A specular highlight is the mirror reflection of the source itself; it moves as the angle between source, surface, and viewer changes. (a) describes diffuse reflection.
Q2 — (b). Enlarging and softening the source turns the ugly hard streak into a smooth, form-revealing gradient highlight. Adding more lights (a) just paints more streaks; aperture/ISO (c, d) don't change a reflection's shape.

Q26. The real problem isn't the watch — it's the lighting strategy. The photographer treated a reflective object with a matte recipe (aim lights at it), so each of the three bare bulbs painted its own hard reflection onto the metal — hence the blotches and streaks. The correct approach is to build the reflections: surround the watch with large, clean, even surfaces (a light tent, or big white cards) so it reflects smooth bright tone, add a black card to draw a defining dark edge, and light those surfaces from outside rather than aiming any source at the watch directly.
