Appendix F: The Complete Reyes–Whitfield Production Book

📜 Tier 3 — Illustrative throughout. Alicia Reyes, Sam Whitfield, Wildrye Farm, and every vendor, guest, and figure here are constructed composites carried through this book. The arithmetic is internally consistent; nothing in it is a record of a real wedding.

This is the artefact forty-one chapters produced, annotated.

It is presented in the ten sections of Chapter 40 §40.1, with a note against each item saying which chapter built it and — where relevant — which injection or audit found it.

Where a version of a document already appears in full in a chapter, this appendix points at it rather than reproducing it.

📝 Two of the five numbers on that page were added by Chapter 40's tests. The venue's Saturday contact came from injection 2; the couple's phone number came from the absence test and had lived only in a phone.

Section 01 — The Client

📝 The protocol was agreed in May in six minutes, and Alicia improved it. A protocol a client has amended is one they will trust — and Chapter 30's debrief tested its limit when she said "I didn't know Rosa nearly didn't do it."

Section 02 — Money

The full reconciliation is in Chapter 30, Case Study 30.2.

📝 The two flagged rows are the book's own error. $437.31 sat outside every line since Chapter 6; $964.78 of drift was never netted against the contingency, which is why the couple were told $826.69 for a year and the answer was $299.22.

Both are now template changes (Appendix A.4, Chapter 39 changes #3 and #4).

Section 03 — Vendors

Eleven suppliers, categorised by substitutability (Ch.28).

📝 The floral collection line is injection 1's finding, and it found a collision before it found a fix. The obvious candidate was already committed.

Section 04 — Venue: the Wildrye Farm File

Chapter 39 §39.6. Kept forever, added to every time.

ACCESS      Single track, 200 m. One-way in practice.
            No dock. Tail-lift only — assume 2–4 hrs per trailer.
            A 53-ft trailer CAN turn in the upper yard. Just.
            07:00 access is $300 and is the best-value line
              in the wedding. Should be standard.

            circuits only. Generator required.
            Barn floods are 5,000 K and unusable — 12 uplighters
              and 200 ft festoon instead.

            The back gate is locked at 18:00.

📝 The capacity block is the book's longest-running error, corrected. 89 was carried for eighteen months and was a dinner figure for a room that was never going to serve dinner. The unit is now written next to the number — Chapter 39's convention, derived from this exact failure.

📝 Chapter 26 found that the emergency page belonged to no chapter and did not exist, after twenty-five chapters. It was written in twenty minutes.

Section 07 — Contingency

The rain plan, all five parts (Ch.28 CS2).

1  BARN. Chairs on the dance floor, aisle on the long axis.
   211 capacity for a ceremony — NOT the 89 that was in the file.
   Cocktail hour → tent. Dinner forward to 18:00.
   Barn reset during dinner. Dancing 20:00.
   ★ FESTOON OFF UNTIL 19:20 — uplighters only, so the cue survives.

2  DEADLINE 13:25. Point of no return 13:45.
   (Recomputed to 13:45; the planner kept 13:25 and spent the
    twenty minutes on margin.)

3  DECIDER: the planner. Agreed in May. Couple may override
   within ten minutes.

4  EVIDENCE: two forecasts · amount not just probability · wind
   · radar from 11:30 · the meadow ground · Wildrye's view.

5  CREW: two Wildrye hands — $40 retained, $120 if used —
   plus Danny and Tomás, SECOND. At least two are not guests.
   → Danny is therefore NOT on the gate if it rains.

The failure playbook is Section 03's category column. 20 umbrellas at the barn door; the barn-to-tent route is 40 ft and lit.

Section 08 — Guests

98 attended of 100 expected, 115 invited.

The columns that were added late and mattered: (Ch.29)

📝 The asking that produced this happened at −3 weeks and should have happened at −6 months. A text from Elena and Sam's mother — not from the planner — to eighteen guests produced eleven replies in four days, including Rosa's June sentence arriving at last.

What This Book Tested Against It

Seven instruments. Roughly forty findings. And not one instrument found what another found.

Which is the argument this appendix exists to make: what catches things is not a better document. It is several instruments that fail differently.

The Twelve Changes This Book Made to Its Own Book

In the order the chapters made them.
