Killing some room reflections (soft furnishings) helps but the core fix is *closeness*. **24.** The gain was set too high, so the loud emphasized word exceeded 0 dBFS and *clipped* (the crack/buzz). It generally *cannot* be fixed in post — the peak's waveform is gone.
